A turnkey Electrical, Power, Air Conditioning and Fire Protection Project for A Leading Media Company
Project Overview
TVC Communications engaged NOLTEC Engineering & Technical Services Ltd to design, supply and install a multi-part project consisting of electrical and power installation, central air conditioning, and fire protection systems. In addition, the project also included supply and installation of CCTV, access control, and a public address system. The following section itemizes the various parts of the project.
Client Profile: TVC Communications, Lagos
TVC Communications is the parent company of award-winning television stations TVC and TVC News, and radio stations Max Lagos and Max Abuja.
1. Electrical and Power Installation
This included supply and installation of the following:
- Electrical power cabling
- Power distribution networks
- Distribution boards, and
- Lighting
We also supplied and installed three units of 750KVA generators including synchronization panel, H7, and control panel.
2. Central Air Conditioning Installation
Supply and installation of 3 units of 300 kilowatt chillers. This included accompanying pipe network connected to over 60 fan coil units and 30 large air handling units of various sizes.
3. Fire Protection Systems
- Installation of FM-200 in sensitive spaces and CO2 fire extinguishers in others.
- This section of the project also included Fire Alarm installation.
4. Electrical Low Voltage (ELV) Solutions
NOLTEC also installed a comprehensive CCTV and Access control system for physical security. Finally, we deployed a Public Address System for the entire building.
