Air Conditioning & Ventilation System for UAC Foods

Project Overview

UAC Foods engaged NOLTEC to deliver an efficient air conditioning and ventilation system for its Gala and Coconut Chip production factory.

Due to the peculiar nature of the heat generated by their machines, they wanted an air conditioning and ventilation solution that will provide cooling but with reduced moisture. The project also involved installing dehumidification equipment.

UAC Foods Limited is a Nigerian company which leads in the manufacturing and marketing of tasty, nourishing convenience foods. These include the industry-defining Gala sausage roll to other brands such as Supreme Ice Cream, Swan Natural Spring Water, and Fun Time Cup Cake.

Project Details

NOLTEC designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the system consisting of Chiller and DX duct split system.

Furthermore, the deployed system comes equipped with low in-built dehumidification systems and low velocity air extraction system at high roof level to prevent the spread of the powder particles around the facility.
